Jacksonville Man Nets $2 Million Prize in Florida Lottery

Akram Awad, 42, has claimed the top prize from the $2 million CASHWORD scratch-off game, according to the Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.

Awad has already chosen how he’d like to receive his winnings, opting for 25 annual installments of $80,000.

$1.4 Million Lottery Ticket Sold in El Paso County Liquor Store

The Colorado Lottery reported that a winning ticket sold at Liquor Stop on Fountain Mesa Road southeast of Colorado Springs is worth $1.4 million dollars.

Because of Presidents’ Day, the winner wasn’t able to claim their prize until 24 hours after the drawing, which was held on Saturday night. The lottery offices are open again as usual on Tuesday.

Baltimore Grocery Store Sells Winning ‘$1000 a Week for Life’ Lottery Ticket

The Maryland Lottery took to Twitter to announce that someone has won a prize worth $1000 a week for life after purchasing a ticket on Friday. Must be nice!

On Twitter, they wrote, “Someone in Baltimore won $1000 a week for life! The winning ticket was sold at Giant on 4624 Edmondson Avenue in Baltimore City.

 Online Lottery for White House Easter Egg Roll Opens

You won’t win any money for entering this lottery, but if you’d like to attend the annual White House Easter Egg Roll, here’s your chance.

Starting at 10 a.m. EST, the online lottery for the White House Easter Egg roll will open and will remain open for one week. Winners will be alerted by email by March 4.

The event is open for families with children under the age of 13 and will take place on April 13 on the White House’s South Lawn. The event was first started in 1878 by President Rutherford Hayes.
